Run Hills at this Weeks Wednesday Workout
There once was a pretty steep hill.
Right next to the ruins of a mill.
On Wednesday we’ll climb, this grade several times
If you skip out you’ll miss a huge thrill!
So old Bill Shakespeare wouldn’t be amazed with that poem (did he write poems?) but it isn’t easy to rhyme and convey information at the same time.
To be clear we will be doing hill reps this week at the Mill City Ruins. As always we will meet at Mill City Running at 6pm. We have battled the heat the last few weeks but we have definitely gotten some great work done. This week looks like we are going to have amazing weather so hopefully we will see some of you that haven’t attended the last few weeks!
Even if you aren’t training for a specific race, doing a hard workout at least once a week will make your training runs feel better and will vastly increase your fitness!
- Beginners 200 meters- 200 meters- 100 meters- 100 meters x 3
- Intermediate 300-300-200-200-100-100 x 2
- Advanced 300-300-200-200-100-100 x 3
I hope you all had a great Labor Day weekend whether it was racing or spending time with friends and family.
See you Wednesday!
