A review of Rockay Accelerate Anti-Blister Running Socks
Disclosure: I was provided these socks free of charge by the manufacturer to review. All thoughts are my own.
I’m always happy to wear test and review running gear, but not much gets me more excited than getting to test out a new brand of running socks. Most runners tend to take excellent care of their feet – especially since they’re a main part of being able to do the sport we love – so having a good pair of socks is a must. This is my review of Rockay Accelerate Anti-Blister Running socks.
Rockay Accelerate Anti-Blister Running Socks
For this review, I used the socks on several occasions in different circumstances. I wore them while wearing a pair of old running shoes on a hot day while I did chores and projects around the house and went out to run some errands. I also wore them with a well broken-in pair of running shoes while out on a six-mile run. Lastly, I wore these socks with a new pair of running shoes while out for five miles on a wet and soggy day.

My initial thoughts about the socks while just wearing them “around” was the extreme comfort they provided. My feet felt great all day, even on a hot day. The cushioning in the socks is fantastic, but not overbearing.
Taking the Accelerate’s out for their first run, they comfort continued as it had when I wore them walking. The socks also stayed in position on my foot without having the heel slide off or have any issues with the toe line. The day I did my first run in them was a temperate day, and the fabric did a nice job of wicking.
The next run I used the Accelerates, I decided to put them to the test a bit. Having recently bought a new pair of shoes, I tried out the socks with new shoes on a misty/puddle jumping/wet day.
Even without any experience in the new shoes, the socks performed well. I did not have any issues with hot spots in the socks. The heel did not slip throughout the run, nor did my foot “slide” around in the new shoes while wearing the Rockay’s.
The one issue I did find on this particular run was that the socks did get a little more soaked than I’m normally used to with other brands. Granted, it was a very wet day with a lot of moisture everywhere. But the entire front part of my foot was pretty soaked after returning from just five miles.
Overall, the Rockay Accelerate Anti-Blister socks are a win in my book. Are there socks on the market that provide more (or less) cushion, or varying levels of compression? Sure. But, I think Rockay has found an excellent balance with all of the components that make a great running sock. Highly recommend!
