How to find a September Road Race in Minnesota
Happy Labor Day! Hopefully you’re enjoying a day not working. Maybe you’re at the Fair, at a lake, or just grilling in the backyard. However you’re spending your day, we hope you’re looking forward to some great fall races.
Fall can be a fun time to race because the weather is (usually) cooler. As the season changes, you may see things in a new light. Sight lines to downtown open up that have been closed from summer foliage, and leaves begin to cover otherwise ugly asphalt paths.
Below is a list of several races in and around the Twin Cities. If you’re running a later fall Marathon, a September 10k may be a good way to gauge where your training has taken you.
You’ll also notice that we’re continuing to fill in our curated race calendar. By using a plugin from the good people at Timely, we’re collecting races from around the state in an easy to find, Pinterest style race board that’s intuitive to use. Feel free to submit a race if you see some that aren’t on ours.
Note: all races updated to current year.
