Live Conversation with Elite Runners Will Leer and Heather Kampf
I had the tremendous privilege to chat with elite milers Heather Kampf and Will Leer.
We talked about a variety of things, from their return from Poland, training since, motivation, eating, favorite beers (or hydration beverages), and a few other random things. Two things off the top of my head jumped out at me during our conversation.
Different Styles, Both Work
Will and Heather approach training very differently, but both have had a lot of success. It really drove home the idea that there’s no secret to training. It comes down to consistency, and listening to your body.
Will asked a great question, “Does running matter.” Heather’s exact response is below in the video, but essentially yes, absolutely it does! It’s a way to bring people together in such a way that not a lot of other thing in life can do.
If you haven’t already signed up for the Medtronic TC 1 Mile, there’s still time!
