#4 The Race Expo, Last Minute Tips and Recovery.
#3 Planning your Race Strategy
#2 Race Day Gear
A few highlights,
- Test EVERYTHING during your training runs. Don’t use anything new on race day, and make sure everything you do use is broken in.
- Fuel/hydration belts (of any kind) are a personal preference thing. Some people love the convenience, some find they never stay in place. Support stops at TCM are spaced very well, so don’t worry about not having enough fluids.
- Weather can make it tricky to figure out what to wear. Like most Minnesota weather suggestions, dress in layers, or wear things easily removable. Even if it’s 50 degrees at the start (the ideal temperature by the way), you’ll heat up quickly. You should be a little cold at the beginning.
- Body Glide is a life saver!
