Hi! I would love the TolaPoint – I’d use it to target the tight spots in my hips that I can’t quite seem to reach with the foam roller!

    • Jennifer

Ashley, the TolaPoint can totally get into those deep hip spots! Adding a little mobility while laying on top of on of the points had the tension in my TFL just melt away!!

  • Lori Golightly

I would love to add the Moji Foot Pro to my routine. It would be nice to use the Moji Foot Pro rather than using my TENS unit all the time. I also don’t suffer from Plantar Fasciitis, but my arch likes to yell at me sometimes. Then there’s the TolaPoint, what runner doesn’t want trigger point therapy in their routine?

    • frenat

Arches do have a tendency to yell!

      Nathan

    • Jennifer

Lori, the Moji Foot Pro may just have you putting away all those cords with your TENS! And it’s super easy to use while you’re doing other things (I would roll my foot while getting ready in the morning)! And you’re right – trigger point therapy there’s nothing better!

    • Jennifer

Lori – Congratulations!! You’ve won the Moji Foot Pro! We don’t have an email address for you in our database, so if you could send it to nathan@minneapolisrunning.com we’ll get it to you so you can start to get some relief from that PF!

      • Lori Golightly

Woohoo! Email has been sent. I’m very excited to use the Moji Foot Pro! Thank you!

P.S. Great article on you today. 🙂

  • Catherine Haufschild

I would love to try them both. I currently am a huge fan of the Grid foam roller and my trusty golf ball. However training for a half ironman is proving that my body needs more love ( or torture depending how u look at it) I would love them both because my the training is so hard on my body and it sounds like this would change my life. In a world where race fees and physio are expensive these tools could really help me out. #MPLSRunMassage baby.. ..

    • Jennifer

Catherine, if anyone deserves a TolaPoint or Foot Pro, it’s someone training for a half iron! Developed by a PT – Jonathan Reynolds – it truly can supplement (and even replace) those physio visits! Good luck with the rest of your training!!

    • Jennifer

Catherine, we have some goodies for you! We don’t have an email for you in our files, so if you can send it to nathan@minneapolisrunning.com we’ll get it to you!

  • Kim Burie

I would love to try the TolaPoint. I already Use a foam roller, the Stick, a tennis ball, and a Rubz ball, but I get these knots in my glutes that are so hard to get at!

    • Jennifer

I hear you on the knots in the glutes Kim! Those are tough to get at and the TolaPoint is one of the first tools that really helps me get at them without a ton of effort from my upper body! You’ll love adding it to your routine!

  • Katie M

I would love to try both devices. I think the TolaPoint could help address some lower back pain that I occasionally experience, while the Moji Foot Pro would relieve my right foot’s intermittent arch discomfort.

    • Jennifer

Katie, the TolaPoint could totally help your back issues – there is an entire section in the user guide on massage techniques for your back! And the Moji would totally help relieve some of that tight arch crud you experience from time to time!

    • Jennifer

Katie – we’re so happy to share you’ve one a TolaPoint system!! We just need an email address for you so we can get it to you – you can send your contact info to nathan@minneapolisrunning.com and we’ll be sure to get it to you!!

      • Katie M

        Sweet! Thanks! I’ll email Nathan

  • Molly Arnold

I currently don’t have either tool in my rehab/training arsenal and would love to try them. I use a foam roller and tennis balls religiously, but I’m finding the further I get into my program (running a race a month for 2015) I’m finding I need different tools to keep me healthy, limber and strong.

    • Jennifer

Molly, sounds like you’ve got a great routine going! You’re right, the TolaPoint will be able to get places the tennis ball just can’t. And the Moji Foot Pro – awesome for those tired feet!

    • Jennifer

Hey Molly, if you could send your email address nathan@minneapolisrunning.com we have a 15% code to send your way!

  • Saul

I foam roll and use the stick pretty regularly, but with how small and effective the TolaPoint and Mojo Foot Pro both sound I think they’d be awesome things to have in my run bag. I’m definitely interested in trying both of them!

    • frenat

      Thanks Saul!

    • Jennifer

Adding the TolaPoint to the foam roller takes things to a whole new level! If you’ve got any tight spots in those hamstrings – it’s perfect!

      • Saul

Dangit! Now I’m really getting interested. My right hamstring is one of my frequent trouble areas.

    • Jennifer

Saul, we’ve got a discount code to send your way, but need you to send your email address our way! You can send it to nathan@minneapolisrunning.com and we’ll be sure to get it to you!! Congrats!

  • lpwoodbe

I would love try the Moji Foot Pro. I never thought of myself as having arch issues, but when I went to get my pre-Grandma’s massage a couple of weeks ago, WOW my arches were so tight and it felt so amazing to get them kneaded out! Definitely going to be paying more attention to them next training cycle!

    • Jennifer

I get really tight arches and the Foot Pro was great! A little time in the freezer and the extra relief is perfect – you can really get into those high arch spots!

    • Jennifer

We know you were excited to try the Moji Foot Pro – but we’re hoping you’re equally excited to try the TolaPoint because we have discount code for you!! If you can send an email to nathan@minneapolisrunning.com, we’ll be sure to get it you!

  • Jill Fitzharris Smith

We hear so much about foam rolling, it is nice to see an article that goes beyond foam rolling for targeted massage. I personally would be happy to have either of the products you reviewed! I also like they are small and portable.

    • Jennifer

That’s a great point, Jill! Both tools are very portable and easy to take with you if you travel!

  • FrauKrissie

That TolaPoint system looks amazing. I’d love to try both of these, the Moji just *looks* like it would feel really great.
I had to edit my post because I used “amazing” twice, which tells me how much I may need these! 🙂

    • Jennifer

I’m not going to lie – both tools are Ah-Mazing!!

    • Jennifer

Krissie – we have a 15% discount code to get your way, but no email address for you on file!! Shoot it to nathan@minneapolisrunning.com and we’ll make sure you get it!

  • Jackie

I take mobility/recovery as serious as my workouts. I currently use a rumble roller & lacrosse ball. These two tools look like they would be a great addition to the mobility/recovery arsenal!

    • Jennifer

Jackie, adding a point to your regular roller turns it into a rumble roller on steroids – it’s perfect for getting at any knots you may have in your hamstrings/glutes! It’s also great for the shoulder too as I know you’ve been struggling with that! The Foot Pro would help keep that foot of yours loose as well!

  • Jen Lydell Besser

These two tools look like exactly what it need! As I’ve been training for my first half marathon, I’ve developed IT band issues. A super tight TFL and piriformis issues seem to be the root cause so the TolaPoint would be perfect. And the Moji would help me keep away the dreaded plantar fasciitis I dealt with past year. And, really, who doesn’t like a good foot massage?

    • Jennifer

Jen, you’d be impressed with how many issues the TolaPoint can help resolve – the guidebook that comes with it has pages and pages of techniques to help keeps every spot happy and healthy! And yep, the Foot Pro would totally help keep that pf at bay!

  • Shanna Braun

The piriformus is a nearly impossible muscle to stretch and one that causes me mega issues when it’s unhappy. The TolaPoint looks like just what I’ve been looking for to really get at that bugger! Pulling the Moji Foot out of the freezer after a hot run like today sounds like music to my tootsies!

    • Jennifer

Shanna, you hit the nail right on the head!! The TolaPoint has been
awesome at getting at my piriformis – stacking the bases and just
sitting/laying on the point helps the tightness just melt away! And, the
coolness of the Foot Pro, felt oh so good after my long run yesterday!

    • Jennifer

Shanna, we have a discount code for the TolaPoint to send your way!! If you could send an email to nathan@minneapolisrunning.com – we’ll get it to you. You’ll love adding it to your routine!

      • Shanna Braun

Wow! I’ve never won anything before…awesome! Thanks!

  • Lynette

Thank you Minneapolis Running for these product reviews. I recently read that deep foot massage can provide relief from Morton’s Neuroma pain. I would love to see if these work for me — especially as I build towards my first ten-mile run. #mplsrunmassage

    • Jennifer

Lynette, you’re welcome! It’s our pleasure to review product when we can and give you an honest assessment. While I’m not familiar with Morton’s Neuroma pain, I’d suspect the Moji Foot Pro could be a benefit! Good luck as you continue working toward your first 10miler!!

    • Jennifer

Lynette, we’re excited to share that we’ve got a discount code to send your way!! Just send an email to nathan@minneapolisrunning.com and we’ll work to get it to you!!

  • KC Heller

I’d love to give one of these tools and try and I’d happily share with my husband, who often suffers from tight hamstrings!

    • Jennifer

KC, while that’s sweet of you – winning either doesn’t require you share! Although I can attest the Tola paired with a foam roller will certainly help his hamstrings!

  • Greta Shomper

I am a foam roll/lacrosse ball/handheld Moji massager junkie, and would love to add these tools to my arsenal. I use my handheld Moji on my feet now but would love the version that stays in place! And the lacrosse ball is great, but I can only imagine the deep-dig you get from the TolaPoint. Anything to help resolve my posterior-tib tendinosis and get healthy for Boston!

    • Jennifer

Sounds like you’ve got a great massage routine Greta – that’s awesome. And you’re right, both would be an excellent addition – the Tola Point can just get places even a lacrosse ball can’t (though that’s my close second weapon of choice). Good luck as you continue to train for Boston!!

      • Shomps13

I purchased a Tola Point with the discount code you sent out and IT IS AMAZING. I have had a really tight…hamstring? Glute? Who knows, but the Tola Point was exactly what I needed to work out that area. I brought my Tola Point to Ragnar this past weekend and my teammates loved it. Thanks for the discount and for brining my attention to an awesome new tool.

        • frenat

AWESOME! Glad it’s been working out for you.

          Nathan

  • runninglives

I would love to add the TolaPoint to my routine to help loosen up and increase the range of motion in my tight hips, shoulders, and the hard-to-get-to Soleus muscle. It would definitely help supplement expensive massages I need from time to time.

  • Jennifer

Hey guys – we’re super excited to share that we’ve selected the winners of the Moji Foot Pro and the five TolaPoint Systems we have to give away!
